How much do you need?
At the 3 inch depth we recommend for river rock, one cubic yard covers about 108 square feet. A 3 inch layer covers landscape fabric fully. Dry creek beds and drainage swales often take 4 to 6 inches.
A cubic yard weighs roughly 1.35 tons loose, so we quote both yards and tons — yards tell you how much space it fills, tons tell you what your truck has to carry.
