How much do you need?
At the 1 inch depth we recommend for sand (mason, limestone), one cubic yard covers about 324 square feet. Paver bedding sand is screeded at 1 inch. Do not use bedding sand to level a base; fix the base instead.
A cubic yard weighs roughly 1.35 tons loose, so we quote both yards and tons — yards tell you how much space it fills, tons tell you what your truck has to carry.
