How much do you need?
At the 3 inch depth we recommend for mulch, one cubic yard covers about 108 square feet. Mulch is sold by the cubic yard. A 3 inch layer is standard for beds; use 2 inches when refreshing existing mulch.
This material is priced and sold by the cubic yard rather than by weight, so yards are the only number you need when ordering. For scale, one cubic yard is roughly thirteen to fourteen of the two cubic foot bags sold at a big box store.
